Rise and Shine!

Last night I met up with a friend I’ve known since we were 2 or 3. We went to grades 1-12 together and though we’ve seen each other from time to time, this is the first long talk we’ve had in many years. We talked for over 3 hours and I felt like there was so much more to cover. I’m so excited to have reconnected with her.

The corollary of this is that we were out at the bar until about 10:30 last night so I didn’t get to bed until a little before midnight and when my alarm went off at 6:40 this morning, I did not want to get out of bed. I went to hit the snooze for the 4th time around 7am and I cracked my eyes open and there was a bug crawling on my pillow right by my face! ARGH! That got me out of bed in a hurry.
