I signed up to create this blog in September of 2005 because I wanted to post a comment to a friend's blog. I'm not sure why it took so long for me to actually post something to my own.

The name, "Life of E's" comes from a very clever Case engineering friend. I told him that I thought it was unfair that there were so many shows about doctors (Scrubs, Grey's Anatomy, E.R., etc.), crime, lawyers, singers, and reality shows of every variety, but not a single show about ENGINEERS. We are a fascinating breed but no one has ever bothered to do a show about us. So Ryan wrote a pilot, loosely based in reality, about a handful of 20-somethings with engineering degrees. There are flashbacks to college, and the characters struggle with love, offshoring, and overcoming their nerdiness. I think it's laugh out loud funny but we're still trying to sell it to the studios...
